Serious people, after greetings, we started the tour with an occupational safety briefing conducted for us by the leading occupational safety engineer Yefimenko Mykhailo. In his beautifully pitched voice, he explained the mode of operation of the centre and the high level of personal responsibility of the excursionists.

Then, as dear guests, we were led to the assembly hall, where the forensic expert Stasiuk Vasylyna spoke about the structure of the centre and the main directions of its activity, answering many broad questions from students and nothing to hide and teachers too.

After that, we were taken to the centre's laboratory in a specialized direction, where Iryna Brunyova, deputy head of the materials, substances and products research department, told us about the types of forensic examinations that are conducted here and the substances that are researched and used. And Alyona Pavlenko, head of the research sector of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors, spoke about the principle of operation of the gas chromatograph and visually showed the process of determining the qualitative composition of the substance (amphetamine), which lit up the students' eyes for laboratory work.

This is the end of the tour, and we would like to thank all the specialists and organizers, in particular Ivanova Svitlana Bohdanivna, the deputy head of the activity support department, and the director, Mishchenko Tetyana Mykhailivnia, and return to the Sumy NDEKC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for practice, or even to work as soon as possible.
