On June 20, 2023, the V Summer School of Young Chemist participants were awarded.

Throughout all the classes, the students faithfully answered quiz questions related to the chemical foundations of the studied processes and concepts. Since the age of the school participants is varied, the questions were aimed at the knowledge gained during the lesson, the observation of the students, and the ability to analyze the newly received information. Additional points could also be obtained in the shelter by solving chemical scanwords. After summing up, we got ten winners out of 33 participants in this year's school.

We would like to thank the constant, generous and resourceful sponsor – LLC "Kusum Pharm"- for five years, which has provided the school's winners with high-quality and valuable prizes. In addition, students received school participant certificates - notebooks with the symbols of Sumy State University to write down their plans and achievements, and not forget to attend the next VI Winter School of a Young Chemist and older students as student assistants for future classes.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the participation, preparation and holding of this year's school: firstly, to our beloved LLC "Kusum Pharm", secondly, to the staff of the Department of Pre-University Education and Career Orientation of Sumy State University; thirdly, I would like to note that the special feature of this school was the guests from the north of the region - 16 lyceum students of the Konotop Lyceum No. 2 of the Konotop City Council of the Sumy Region, who won the hearts of both teachers and school organizers with their inquisitiveness and kindness; to Oksana Anatoliivna Marchenko, Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the Konotop City Council of the Sumy Region, to all teachers, students and laboratory assistants of the TPH Department; and, especially, to the student-teachers: Nastyusha Vinichenko, Sasha Radchenko, Vlada Mukvych and Dima Yakymenko, thanks to your efforts and inexhaustible optimism, work capacity and stress resistance, this holiday became a bright firework in difficult war times. We wish everyone involved peace, harmony and inspiration in work and life!
