Every year, the university community of Sumy State University, together with Ukrainians around the world, celebrates the Day of Vyshyvanka. Ukrainian embroidered shirt is not just an element of national clothing, it is a powerful talisman, a shrine of the people, a unique work of art, woven with threads of many years of history and culture. In the conditions of a full-scale war, the embroidered vyshyvanka takes on a special meaning because it symbolizes the indomitability of the Ukrainian spirit and unites Ukrainians and all people who support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and independence because the Sumys have endured.
