On February 27, at Sumy State University, a series of open lectures began.

We are excited to announce the start of a series of open lectures by the distinguished Professor Yury Gogotsi, Charles T. and Ruth M. Bach, Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Director of the A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute. Professor Yury Gogotsi, a leading expert in the field of 2D materials and the inventor of a new class of 2D materials known as MXenes, delivered a lecture titled "Carbon Nanomaterials: From Fullerenes to Nanotubes and Graphene." The Department of Theoretical and Practical Chemistry faculty enthusiastically welcomed this opportunity and participated in the event.

The lectures are conducted in English and are open to all who are interested in 2D materials and their applications. There is still an opportunity to join and gain insights from one of the pioneers in this field through two more captivating lectures:

  1. "MXenes: 2D Materials for Future Technologies" on March 12 at 15:00 EET
  2. "Nanomaterials for Energy Storage" on March 19 at 16:00 EET

This is a unique chance to deepen your understanding of advanced nanomaterials and their applications in future technologies directly from a world-renowned expert.

Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and be inspired by the latest advancements in the field of nanomaterials!
