Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry Liudmyla Ponomarova, with the support of the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic), received a mini-grant funded by the Czech government through the AgriSciences Platform for Enhancing Science in Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions grant platform.

The grant is aimed at supporting researchers in their scientific development, providing opportunities for international cooperation, expanding research opportunities and professional development.

This allowed the purchase of equipment, in particular: a laboratory diaphragm vacuum pump VP-15L, which creates a vacuum for filtration or distillation; a magnetic stirrer with heating MS-H280-Pro provides uniform mixing and temperature control up to 280°C; ion-selective electrodes for NH4+ and K+ measurements. This equipment expands the capabilities of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry to independently conduct research without involving external laboratories, accelerating scientific research.

We express our gratitude for the support of chemical science at SumDU to the partner university of the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic), and to the team of the AgriSciences Platform for Enhancing Science in Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions.
