Faculty members and students of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry successfully participated in an international virtual mobility programme organised by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), within the framework of the AgriSci-UA Platform: Strengthening Research Capacities and Deepening Collaboration Among Ukrainian Universities in Agricultural Sciences.
The programme, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, included a comprehensive 180-hour (6 ECTS) international lecture series for early-career researchers, aimed at enhancing research competencies, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and fostering integration into the European academic and research environment.
The initiative brought together participants from Ukrainian and international institutions, providing access to expert-led lectures addressing contemporary challenges and innovations in:
- sustainable agricultural systems and environmental resilience;
- agrochemistry and advanced monitoring approaches;
- chemical and biotechnological innovations in food and agricultural production;
- scientific collaboration and research capacity development within the European Higher Education Area.
Participation in this international mobility programme reflects the Department’s strategic commitment to academic internationalisation, capacity building, and alignment with European educational and research standards. Engagement of both faculty members and students supports the development of global competencies, promotes knowledge transfer, and contributes to the modernisation of teaching and research practices.
The Department continues to actively expand international partnerships and strengthen its participation in collaborative European academic initiatives, fostering academic excellence and interdisciplinary innovation.
