The Sumy State University team "Argentera" – consisting of researchers from the Department of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry L.M. Ponomarova, R.M. Pshenychnyi, D.M. Khandoha, and students Danylo Tereshchenko (I-42/2ph) and Kateryna Kostiuk (MK-31) – won the 3rd prize in the GreenChem Accelerator 2026 acceleration program.

Together with representatives of 10 other promising innovative projects from Ukraine, the Sumy researchers successfully presented their development at the final Demo Day on September 16, 2026.

The path to success during the acceleration:

• 3 months of intensive work: validating the idea, working on the business model, and developing solutions for safe chemistry.
• Expert mentoring: direct interaction with over 30 leading mentors (including individual mentor Olha Hurtova), scientists, and international investors.
• Demo Day 2026: high praise for the development from an international jury and securing funding for further research.
